Some pics and update

I took Mylee to the doctor for her 2 week check up on Tuesday and she had gained a pound from the week before! Our chunky monkey is a whoppin' 7lbs. 4 oz! While Nicho weighs in at 24.5 lbs. We decided that Nicho is going to be tall and slender...We are loving having two kids and the wee hour bonding times are great! Nicholas still loves his "baby sitter" (that's what he calls her) and he is so proud of her when we take/pick him up from school. He loves to show her off to his friends there. Did I mention that Nicholas' friend Scout(ok, so she is precious and I would arrange their marriage right now) from his old babysitters house will be joining him at his school in August!?!?! I am sooo excited!!! Well, it is 4 o'clock so spring break has officially arrived! Jerry has baseball next week but at the end of the week we are going to take the family and his UIL kids to San Antonio at the end of the week. We are going to Sea World and a Spurs game while we are there! Nicho, Mylee, me, and some of Jerry's baseball kids will be flying back early early Saturday...wish us luck!!!! Jerry will be coming back with the rest of the kids and sponsors late Saturday. I know we will have fun, but will be worn out for sure! Happy Spring Break to those of you that are cool like us and still have spring breaks!! Congrats to Eddie, aka Adeana and Chera for their new babies. I don't think I gave Brenda Lou a shout out when she had baby Adam in December so...congrats to you and your family as well. Peace out!

Didn't you know that being a big brother is hard work? Nicho is doing so good with Mylee, but he gets wiped out!!! Ok, I do realize I just posted the same picture twice, but not sure how to get it off! ha!

Mylee Marie Estrada

She's here!!!! Mylee was born at 1:40 pm yesterday, Feb. 23rd. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz, and is 19.5 inches long. She is eating well, and we are all doing great. The delivery was a completely different experience then with Nicholas (for those of you that know that story!!!) Jerry, My mom, Jerry's mom were in the delivery room. Dr. Blann and Lori made it over (really I didn't think they would make it in time....) in time for me to pus a few times and out she came! She is just precious and I think she looks like Nicho. Nicholas is very proud of his little sister. He kept saying "I love you Mylee!" Hopefully he will continue to feel this way when we get home! I will post pictures soon! I have to go and get some pink clothes!!!!! Thank you sooo much for your thoughts and prayers.

Well, we go in to the hospital tonight at 9, and they will induce in the morning...the actual due date. Please pray that things go smoothly and that the DRUGS WORK!!! :) We keep asking Nicho if he is ready for the baby and he kindly replies, "No way!". So, hopefully his tune will change tomorrow!! We are very excited and are thankful for your thoughts and prayers!! I will keep all of you posted.

They are 1 Today!

Can you believe that my beautiful nieces are 1 today? I can't believe how the time flew by for me, not so sure it flew by just as fast for my sis and her family! ha! We are going out to eat after we get all of our kiddos from "school" today. The girls' birthday bash is on Saturday. I will post some pics from their party. I really hate to post something without any pictures because I am a visual kind of gal. But, at this rate, I am just doing good to get an update on here. The latest: Jerry has been painting Nicho's big boy room red, white, and black. It looks really good! Nicho is excited for his new room, and for his big boy bed. We are leaving his room for the baby. It is chocolate and turqoise (spelling?). If we have a girl, we will foof it up and make it girly. Obviously that will be a project after the baby comes. I keep thinking I need to get a bag packed for the hospital...maybe I will do that this morning. Nicho and I were up at 4:45 this morning because he needed to go potty. 4:45 is early, but hearing him say he needs to potty is a great thing!!! We aren't stressing the whole potty training thing right now, but he does a really good job of telling us when he needs to go to the bathroom. I think while I am home on maternity leave, he will master potty training..because you know I will have SOOO much time and won't be tired AT ALL! Ha! Nicho is still going to go to school while I am home, just not all day. I can't pass up staying home with my favorite two kiddos. I know the time will fly by and it is going to suck big time when I have to go back to work. I have about 2 1/2 weeks until my due date. I am hoping to hang on as long as I can. The longer I wait, the later I go back to work!! I am super excited for all my friends that are expecting, or are about to be expecting... :) Praying for you all!!!
